Rose Cottage has a 4-star rating. Though only 3 minutes walk from the bustling Market Square and shops of Stow-on-the-Wold it enjoys a surprisingly quiet location and two secluded gardens - one large with a pond to sit by in the evening and one small one at the rear. Built circa 1750 from beautiful Cotswold stone, the cottage has 3 bedrooms (one king, one double, and one single), one power and one over-bath shower, oak bespoke kitchen, a lounge with TV/DVD player, and a reception room with oak refectory table and chairs. Original features (e.g.,exposed beams, stone fireplace) have been retained throughout, but all modern conveniences are available including two wood stoves, central heating, washer, tumble dryer, freezer, extra fridge, built-in dishwasher, microwave with grill, and parking for 3 cars. Wifi is available free of charge. Stow-on-the-Wold is of great historic interest and is within easy reach of other delightful villages each having their individual charm and character.
